How the roller works

Compressive microvibration therapy works through a handheld roller device that delivers mechanical pressure and oscillating vibration to the skin and underlying tissue at the same time. The rotating silicone spheres reach the layer where cellulite actually forms, which surface massage never touches.

Sessions and results

Sessions run 60 minutes per area. Most clients feel measurable change after the first visit: reduced puffiness, lighter legs, smoother skin texture. Visible cellulite reduction builds from session 3 or 4 onward.

The roller presses into the fascial layer, the connective tissue web beneath the skin, while the vibration frequency disrupts the fibrous septae that pull the skin surface down and cause the dimpled appearance of cellulite. The pressure also forces fluid movement through the lymphatic vessels, clearing metabolic waste and reducing puffiness in a way passive massage cannot replicate. The result at the tissue level: broken-down fibrous bands release their grip on the skin, lymphatic flow picks up, and circulation to the area increases. Fat deposits become less rigid over successive sessions, and the skin surface smooths out. Collagen production increases as the tissue responds to the mechanical stimulus, so skin firmness keeps building for 4 to 6 weeks after you finish a course.

Standard massage moves fluid and eases muscle tension, but it doesn't reach the fascial layer where cellulite forms. The depth and frequency of compressive microvibration get below the dermis and act on the connective tissue structure itself. That is why the treatment works on long-standing cellulite that years of regular massage haven't touched: it releases the bands that cause the dimpling instead of kneading the tissue above them.

How It Works

The five actions of compressive microvibration

This mechanical system works on your skin, fat layer, and muscle tissue through five distinct actions.

The rotating spheres pulse against your skin in a steady rhythm, acting like a mechanical pump on your lymphatic system. That pumping action helps your body drain excess fluid and cellular waste, easing swelling, puffiness, and that heavy, retained-water feeling.

Rapid compression and release give your vascular system a workout right where the spheres pass. Local circulation picks up, delivering more oxygen and nutrients to the area and supporting healthier-looking skin.

Cellulite happens when enlarged fat cells push up against the skin while fibrous bands underneath pull it down, creating that dimpled look. The rotation and compression work on those dense fat deposits and stretch the connective tissue, smoothing the texture out.

The vibrations stimulate your neuromuscular receptors, triggering passive muscle contractions that tone and firm the area without you having to do anything. It also helps flush out lactic acid, easing minor muscle aches and post-workout soreness.

Deep stimulation triggers fibroblasts in your dermis, encouraging your skin to produce more of its own collagen and elastin. Over time, that firms loose skin, improves elasticity, and softens fine lines.

The device generates low-frequency vibrations between 39 and 355 Hz, a range calibrated to act as a mechanical pump for the lymphatic system. Forbes covered this mechanism in a 2022 feature on Endospheres therapy.

Facial Contouring

Lift and depuff with facial microvibration

On your face, a smaller handpiece delivers the same gentle, contouring action, working with your facial anatomy to refresh your skin without needles or topical chemicals.

Less Under-Eye Puffiness

Helps drain trapped fluid around your eyes and cheeks.

A More Defined Jawline

Works the muscles underneath to help lift and define your jawline and cheekbones.

Softer Fine Lines

Stimulates collagen production, improving skin density and softening wrinkles around your mouth and forehead.

The Client Experience

What a session feels like

Your specialist glides the handpiece over dry skin, using a light oil so the silicone spheres move smoothly.

The Sensation

As the spheres roll over your skin, you'll feel firm, rhythmic pressure paired with a deep, low vibration.

Is It Painful?

It's designed to be comfortable. If you have dense cellulite or muscle tension in an area, you might feel some sensitivity at first, but that fades quickly.
