Day 1
Theory & Safety
- ·Laser physics — how different wavelengths target hair follicles
- ·Fitzpatrick skin typing and its role in parameter selection
- ·Safety protocols, contraindications, and eye protection requirements
- ·Machine operation — controls, handpieces, and parameter settings
- ·Practice on test areas under instructor supervision
Homework: Review Fitzpatrick skin type chart and treatment parameter tables. Be prepared to identify skin types and select settings on Day 2.
Day 2
Hands-On Training & Examination
- ·Full treatment sessions on live models — legs, underarms, bikini, and facial areas
- ·Parameter adjustment for different skin types, hair colors, and body areas
- ·Managing client expectations, treatment scheduling, and session spacing
- ·Aftercare protocols and handling skin reactions
- ·Practical examination and certificate presentation
